The Stock Administrator is a professional who has prior experience in administering stock plans for publicly traded companies. The Stock Administrator is a key contributor who works closely with executive level employees in People Operations, Accounting, Payroll and Legal. The individual will understand the tax withholding and reporting requirements related to equity compensation and work with the Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate submission to tax agencies. The Stock Administrator will know how to thoroughly research equity reporting requirements and the filing of year-end tax forms. The Stock Administrator will manage special projects as needed as well as assist in creating SOX procedures and controls. Success in this role is dependent on strong knowledge of equity processes and systems, successful management of multiple deadlines, and excellent communication skills. This position reports to the Senior Stock Administrator.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain and reconcile E*TRADE EEO and AST databases ensuring information is updated timely and accurately
  • Assist with the preparation and upload of new equity grants, daily exercises, daily terminations, quarterly RSU releases, tax filings/Form 3921s, and other equity-related priorities within EEO
  • Work with E*TRADE’s Executive Services Team to process 10b5-1 trading plan portal activity and preclearance requests
  • Review and audit tax withholding / tax table in EEO and reporting requirements
  • Prepare shares outstanding and reporting deliverables to all business partners
  • Respond to employee questions
  • Partner with Legal Team on developing communications and education materials for employees
  • Collaborate with legal and payroll teams as needed
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and presentations as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is a plus)
  • Public company experience strongly preferred
  • Proficient with Excel (vlookups, sum-if formulas, pivot tables, and other functions)
  • 5+ years stock administration experience
  • General accounting and SOX compliance knowledge helpful
  • Must be proactive with a strong attention to detail, conscientious of confidential information, and able to communicate effectively and efficiently cross-functionally to meet deadlines
  • Positive approach, initiative to help improve current processes to find efficiencies, and ownership-minded
  • Must be adaptable and able to reprioritize
  • Knowledge of Section 16 Form 4 filing a plus

This role is not eligible to be performed remotely in Colorado.
