At Arrival, our team is creating best-in-class electric vehicles using a radical new method of design and production. We work with some of the world’s leading businesses and governments to achieve our goal of redefining mobility and transport ecosystems, transforming how people and goods travel and enhancing urban environments for all communities.
Innovation, rapid development and testing help us to push the boundaries. Our New Method takes our portfolio of patented technologies created in-house, and combines it with assembly in Arrival Microfactories. It’s a groundbreaking approach, leading to products with maximum functionality, peak efficiency, and an elevated experience – at a much more competitive price than other electric vehicles, and even fossil fuel vehicles.
Arrival’s expansion plans are rapid, and the ambitions are huge. As a result, the packaging engineering role is critical to ensuring parts arrive to the plant with perfect quality, presented to integrate seamlessly with our process all while optimising logistics cost for our vast supply chain.
The role will involve creative and forward thinking to set standards and develop packaging to suit the future growth of the company as well as overcoming the challenges faced with oversized parts and Microfactories. An ability to create strong relationships with part suppliers, packaging manufacturers, and the in-plant customers will be required in order to adapt to the Microfactory strategy. Excellent project management skills are paramount to success in the role as timelines are aggressive with significant deliverables required for each build phase.
